The Vergennes Area Lions Club meets twice monthly at the American Legion Post #14 in Vergennes, VT. Henry Broughton and his wonderful cooks create a tasty dinner to enjoy before holding the business portion of the gathering.

The meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and come to order promptly at 6:45 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays during the months of September through June. In July and August we hold informal barbeques at different locations.

Meetings are facilitated by the officers of the club using Roberts Rules of Order. The club secretary and treasurer provide information and the various committees report on projects and community needs. Although we are committed to providing services, there is a lighthearted spirit to the gatherings and everyone enjoys their time with this wonderful group. Ask any member and they'll tell you the camaraderie is as rewarding as the fulfillment of providing for those around you.

Vergennes Lions Director's Meetings are held every second Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The meetings convene and begin on time and last exactly one hour. Currently we are meeting at the Vergennes Chittenden Bank on North Maple Street. All are invited to attend.

Current members are asked to contact the club secretary, Ed Langlois, if unable to attend regular meetings by calling 877-0098 or emailing edlanglo@sover.net
